| Randy R. comes from Chatsworth New Jersey, in the heart of the New Jersey pinelands. He was born with a love of music and began playing the guitar at the ripe early age of ten. At age twelve he began playing guitar with his fathers bluegrass band, "The Woodland Ramblers". Throughout the 70's 80's and on into the 90's Randy played with some of the hottest bands in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. When he is not playing solo he is the lead singer of the "Third Rail Band". along with his friend and steel guitar player Gary Kelly Randy has opened shows for some major country stars such as Randy Travis The Mavericks LeAnn Rimes and the ever famous "Jack Green" from the Grand Ole Opry as well as countless other acts. Randy has also established himself as a excellent songwriter having had countless songs published such as "Fallen angel", "Angels are real", "Lay me down to cheat", and "A women like you" just to name a few. He has appeared at many well known venues and is definitely establishing himself as a major player in the country music scene. |
